About Matt
Matt Holton was born and raised on the slopes of Maui in the small town of Kula. The islands tropical flowers, fruits, and dramatic landscapes are the inspiration for much of his artwork. In his portraits, Matt captures a unique view of people from Hawaii and human experiences. Most recently Matt has started to build his own wood frames that incorporate stones, glass, and shells.
